It's hard to believe the pledge is already half over! Week two was a windy one, but I still got my daily riding in by pedaling around town. For some crazy reason I've had challenges in remembering the correct day when posting my daily Instagram picture. Maybe 30 Days of Biking is like going on vacation. You're having so much fun you lose track of what day it is.
My Week in Review
Day Eight - Signs of spring can be flowers, green foliage, and ammonia tanks parked at the co-op.
Day Nine - Another ride around town took me past Waukee's "old downtown" area where there's a working phone booth. Kids like to use it to make prank phone calls.
Day Ten - This "mysterious big W" makes me think of that awesome movie It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. If you haven't seen it before you're in for a hilarious treat.
Day Eleven - Time for my weekly ride up to the library. This time it was to pick up a book for my son.
Day Twelve - Man! I was having a tough time finding an interesting photographic element and settled for a storm drain!??!
Day Thirteen - Baseball season kicked off for the local Little League. I ended up biking home from the game in the dark.
Day Fourteen - Finally! A long ride over to Minburn. It wasn't an eventful bike ride per se but I did see some interesting things along the way. More on that here....
